Bunny Bait

Saw these Bunny Bait treat bags on Pinterest
and were they a big hit with my Granddaughters class today.
Supplies: Rice Chex, pretzel sticks, white melting candies,
spring sprinkles, white popcorn and M&M's.
Spread 2 cups pretzel sticks, 2 cups Rice Chex and 1 bag of popcorn
on cookie sheet. Pour melted white melting candies over mixture and stir
to coat. Then sprinkle on your spring sprinkles. Do not mix after adding
sprinkles or you will coat the sprinkles.
Once mix is set, add M&M's, package in individual treat bags.
Generated" Bunny Bait" wording on the computer and printed on card stock paper.
Bunny cut with the Martha Stewart punch and added a small white pom pom tail.
Here is the blog address of the person I got this from

Hope all have a blessed Easter weekend.

Mosiac Moments Scrapbooking

Spent the last two weekends scrapbooking using the Mosiac Moments technique by Tami Potter. I did my first page back in 2009 using pictures taken on our train ride up White Mountain Pass in Alaska. Even though I was very pleased with the outcome, I have been so busy doing traditional scrapbooking but when I saw her booth at a scrapbook convention recently, I knew I had to do more. I purchased several packets of her grid papers in a variety of colors and  starter kits for my Granddaughter and Daughter-in-law. After doing just  one page, they are hooked!!!!
Hope you will enjoy viewing.

My daughter, Granddaughter and I in New York City where we got to see most of the sights plus Broadway production of The Lion King.

The above five pages when we attented a Balloon Festival at
Long Branch near Winchester, Virginia.

Followed by two pages taken at the Neptune festival in Virgingia Beach, Virginia.

After seeing how well these pages turned out, I found pictures taken when my son's best friend from High School graduated from the Citadel. I plan to make a color copy of the first  page to send to  him.

Visit Tami's web site at www.wishinthewind.com to learn how to do this amazing technique.

Happy St. Patrick's Day Card

Mojo Monday Challenge 283 is my inspirations for this card. I began with white card stock for the basic card then selected different shades and patterns of green paper. I cut the shapes, arranged, following the placement example of the challenge then added sentiment and embellishments.  I just received the Shape Maker System from Creative Memories and the 2 inch circle cartridge was used to cut the white circle. This has to be the easiest  punch I have ever used.  The two leaves were cut using the Cottage Cutz Leafy Foliage (4x6) die. I hand  drew the stitch lines around the border of the card, circle and shapes.

Elegant Favor Box

I used the Elegant Favor Box (4x8) die from Scrapping Cottage
to hold a gift card for a friend's 70th birthday celebration.
After cutting four, I folded and glued together, then embellished with green vines and roses. I highlited the rose edges in pink with a copic marker. Topped off  the box with the  gift tag and ribbon bow.
